It is our desire that you will always be satisfied with your magic purchases. We do not want you to purchase something too difficult for your own skill level and we hope this grading system will help you make better choices in selecting your magic effects. To that end, we have implemented a skill level rating system and hope to eventually categorize all our magic items. This skill level rating is based on our own experience and knowledge of each product. These are not someone else's opinions. Look for the skill level indicator at the beginning of product descriptions but please be patient as we build the data. The scale runs from 1 to 3 as follows: 1 = Beginner - No specific skill required. Recommended for everyone. Usually excellent for young people and those of you who do not want to spend a lot of time developing specific skills required for the effect. It may require a little practice but it is generally EASY to perform.
2 = Intermediate - A little more time & effort required. Some sleight of hand may be required. May require a fair amount of practice prior to performing publicly. Recommended for those who already enjoy performing magic and are not afraid to put in a little "extra" practice.
3 = Advanced - Recommended for those who are more experienced in performing magic. Definitely NOT a good beginner item as the amount of practice necessary will likely discourage many people. An item may also be "Recommended for Stage" which means this item is not a good choice for close-up presentation.
